Book to Reveal Vatican Archives

All you Angels & Demons fans out there will not want to miss this article from USA Today. Apparently that super secret, air conditioned room that holds all the Vatican’s archives really exists…except it’s not super secret, or air conditioned. The real thing is an old storage area thats holds archives up to 1,200 years old. Although it’s open to scholars, it’s organized in a system that would probably make today’s librarians cringe.

A new book, “The Vatican Secret Archives” has published 19 never before released documents from the Vatican archives, including a letter from Michelangelo to the Pope. Typical of all things Catholic, you must pay to play. It currently retails for about $160 on Amazon.
